Target Audience

The educational design of this activity addresses the needs of primary care clinicians and HIV-treating physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and nurses.

Program Description

Over the last several years, rapid antiretroviral therapy (ART) has been recommended in guidelines and has begun to be widely implemented. However, many clinics still face barriers and clinicians are unsure about rapid ART requirements and which patients are eligible. Both primary care providers and HIV treaters can begin rapid ART, though primary care providers may need additional guidance on rapid ART recommendations. These activities answer the most common questions regarding rapid ART recommendations and implementation.
