Target Audience

The educational design of this activity addresses the needs of hematologists/oncologists related to the treatment of B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL).

Program Overview

In the field of hematology/oncology (hem-onc), pharmacologic advances happen rapidly, challenging hem-onc providers to stay up to date on the most current clinical trial results and guidelines. In this program, Dr. Ann LaCasce reviews data from the most recent American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and European Hematology Association (EHA) conferences on marginal zone lymphoma (MZL), discusses the hot topics related to chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy for the treatment of non-Hodgkin lymphoma, and outlines potential emerging therapies, detailing their often novel mechanisms of action.

Educational Objectives

After completing this activity, the participant should be better able to:

  • Describe the newer US Food and Drug Administration–approved therapies in various non-Hodgkin lymphoma subtypes
  • Summarize the most recent clinical trial data on investigational therapies in non-Hodgkin lymphoma, emerging from recent hematology/oncology conferences
  • Discuss approaches to implementation of new findings and therapeutic options in non-Hodgkin lymphoma therapies
