Making the Call in Eosinophilic Esophagitis

The incidence and severity of newly diagnosed eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) is on the rise; fortunately, new therapies are emerging. To optimize care, clinicians often seek advice from colleagues on certain patients or scenarios. This series of Phone-a-Friend™ episodes highlights the importance of multidisciplinary care in EoE management and features specialists in pediatric allergy/immunology, gastroenterology, and nutrition asking and addressing common questions about EoE. The series will cover a variety of topics, including disease burden, pathophysiology, diagnosis, and current dietary and pharmacologic management of EoE.
