Program Description

Antiretroviral therapy (ART) options with novel routes of administration have recently become available and several additional options are in clinical trials. These advances are accompanied by the need for changes to clinic infrastructure and novel implementation strategies. Buffing Up on New and Emerging ART: A Look at the Changing HIV Playing Field is a multimedia training program consisting of three 10-minute circuits that will boost your endurance and strengthen your expertise in using new and emerging ART options with novel routes of administration in HIV management. Drs. Onyema Ogbuagu and Jose Arribas walk learners through novel ART options, patient perspectives, clinical trial data, clinic models, workflow challenges, and the future of long-acting ART.
